About Somos la Semilla: "We Are the Seed"

Somos la Semilla is a network of grassroots groups, organizations, funders, farmers, and clinics in Arizona-Sonora borderlands working together to grow our future through healthy food systems. The group was born from the Healthy Food, Healthy Future conference in Dragoon, Arizona, which was convened in February 2010 to discuss the future of a healthy, working local food system in Southeastern Arizona.
